Albany Symphony Orchestra is Southwest Georgia’s only professional symphony. This 85 members award winning orchestra was formed in 1965. The orchestra's performance home is the Albany Municipal Auditorium. During the regular season performances are also held at the Albany James H. Gray, Sr. Civic Center, the Parks at Chehaw and Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Since 1935, the Albany Concert Association has presented a variety of high quaity concert performances by well-known nationally and internationally known artists as well as rising young artists. The concerts are held at the Albany Municipal Auditorium.
